The creation of the Floyd's Company Portal is a key example of Shania jumping in and learning what she doesn't know. Prior to this project Shania had never worked in Wordpress. During this project she looked to Udemy and Youtube for guidance as she built the portal. Along with building the site itself she also created an instructional user guide with video instruction, introduction emails and posters, and linked the portal to the company's app.
The portal contains:
Company documentation and links with a manager access portion, company newsletter, discussion rooms for multiple departments, general feedback links, private and public messaging, and a company poll board.
To date Shania still manages the portals maintenance, upgrades, and onboarding/discharging of employee accounts.
